"It was clean and spacious. The pans for cooking didn’t have any scratches. The bathroom had many great amenities including a big soaking tub and a shower with a rainfall type spout. Also, location was excellent, right next to longs drugs and close to the major outdoor malls."

"The property was a good spot for me and my family. Staff was 100 percent awesome and friendly. One thing I absolutely disliked was the elevator system. "
"The hotel was very nice. Bed was comfortable and enough closet space to fit alll your clothing. They do have a laundry facility for $5 a load and $5 to dry. Detergent is $1 at the front desk. The refrigerator is large enough to hold enough food for your stay. We were able to make breakfast since the hotel does prove pans. Loved that Kona coffee was just down the street along with target. Will definitely stay here again. "

"Family friendly! Near the beach and restaurants and convenience store, very walkable, meet everybody’s needs. Staffs were very supportive and calm during the tsunami warning. Complimentary breakfast has a good variety with good protein sources, fluids and fruits. Accessible to public transportation. The evening reception is enjoyable , to relax by the pool and take the plunge. Rooms are spacious. Staffs are so accommodating. Will be coming back here and will recommend."
"We were here during the tsunami warning of July 2025 and we had checked out of the Halepuna the day before, but when our other hotel had a forced evacuation and we were turned away from five other hotels in Waikiki - no one was accepting new reservations - Halepuna graciously allowed us to return. The staff worked tirelessly all night during the tsunami warning, setting up metal barriers for flood water, providing free sandwiches and water when all other businesses shut down, and even driving guests to the airport at midnight when Ubers and taxis were out of service. I have never experienced such a conscientious hospitality and extreme ownership from hospitality staff. "
