Wonderful Farmhouse Experience

Secluded Area with a gorgeous view

This property is beautiful. It is very secluded, and the view is breath taking! This is a must stay. The master bedroom is very nice, and we loved the back deck! The horses are just gorgeous to look at. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Sunset & Swing

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much it was very quiet & comfortable . We enjoyed sitting out on the swing watching the sun go down… Eating breakfast and a few suppers in the kitchen. Loved & touched by reading the book there “Restored”. Only thing not real clean was windowsills on back porch.. but other than that I really nice place to stay hope to come back again sometime in the area. Very easy to speak with owner Holly. very well in a comfortable bed.

Peaceful Retreat

My family and I, and 2 grand dogs, needed a house in the country for the weekend close to a wedding venue of a family friend. Everything worked out very well. The dogs and we loved exploring the well maintained grassy surrounding of the house. As one family unit it was easy enough to walk through my bedroom to share the one shower in the house, a situation typical for a house of the era. We would certainly come back to this house if the need arises again to stay in the area. Thank you for sharing!

Overnight stop on FL trip

We loved this property and town so much!! It is so peaceful here. Enjoyed petting the horses, Lucky and Dixie and the chickens. We built a fire and made S’mores. Washer and dryer and a Keurig with Starbucks pods. Grill on the deck outside. We went into town where they have a beautiful courthouse and square with many shops and restaurants and we learned that some shows, including Hallmark have been filmed here. Enjoyed reading about the history of the property and a little bit of the book by the owner. We will return and try the other cabins on the property too!

Beautiful serene farmhouse

We loved staying overnight on the farm. The property and house was clean and well kept. Our kids loved being able to visit the animals. The house had everything we needed and the owners had great communication. We only stayed one night but would definitely consider staying longer if we are ever passing through again. The only thing to just note, not a problem, is that you can only access the third bedroom through the second, as well as the second bathroom is off of the second room. This worked fine for us because the kids were staying in those rooms. There was only access to the bathrooms through the bedrooms. Fine for families. This could’ve been listed in the description but I missed it. We also traveled into town which had a good variety of restaurants and a nice little downtown feel.I would definitely recommend this property and haven’t been able to stop thinking of the beautiful views since we left!

Just the cutest...

An adorable little farmhouse with all the amenities needed to make this place your home away from home. Great communication and views. We enjoyed the nightly firefly show and stunning sunsets.

Perfect location

Muletown Girls' Getaway

This was one of the most delightful getaway places we've been to! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the Sunset Farmhouse was a charming place for a short girls' getaway. The home was immaculately clean (and larger than we initially thought!), the hosts provided clear directions and responded promptly to messages prior to our stay, and we didn't have any issues while there. My friend and I have both talked about how we would definitely come back again. This was truly a restorative getaway!

Cute house on farm

We stayed in the Sunset House on Muletown Farms for the second year in a row for family weddings in Columbia. Great relaxing area. Sitting on the porch in a rocking chair or the porch swing was perfect in the warm sunshine. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the new firepit next to the house with outdoor lighting. The property is beautiful to walk around with a friendly horse & dogs to pet. Great place to stay with several cabins/houses to choose from.

Best weekend getaway!!!

We planned a kayaking trip and really needed a place that could accomodate our kayak trailer. The farmhouse was perfect!! So peaceful. The owners are fantastic and were literally a phone call away if we needed anything. We will definitely be staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and quiet. We did not get to meet the host due to running around for Daughter's wedding. All correspondence with them was answered promptly and very kindly. I hope we get to meet them next time. P.S. love the Keurig machine!

Disappointed

Commode won’t flush. No dish towels, no towels, wash rags or hand towels. No kitchen cabinets with no necessities to cook. Dish washer doesn’t work. Light bulbs missing. Excessive flies. Yard not cut til late and threw grass on sidewalks and porch. Not enough of trash bags. One shower. Muletown farm is not maintained. An embarrassment.

Country Get Away

It is a beautiful and quite property. The animals were our favorite part! The kids were amazed at the horses! My youngest also loved mimicing the rosters. It was just what we needed. Thank you!
