“There were 5 hummingbirds that flew in 3 times a day. We had several visits by the mule deer and lizards. We heard lots of other animals. The scenery and surroundings mountains were spectacular. It was close to many interesting parks and towns to visit. The house especially the back porch was great. It was very well stocked. The driveway in wasn’t as rough as some described. Kimberly was quick to respond to questions. We would be very happy to stay there again. We would bring more mosquito……

The kitchen had everything I needed, plus there was a grill just out the door! We have stayed at a lot of different places and this host the best by far with communication! I would recommend property to anyone wanting to get away to peace and quiet! ”

“This tiny house was situated on a cattle ranch. In the evenings we would hang out with the cows and enjoy the view of the nearby mountains. It was incredibly peaceful! Our dog loved the stay as well. The house had everything we needed. We used the grill one night which was a great option and we were close to Mesa Verde National Park.”

“Perfect location for our family, hiking, fishing, and swimming!! Our friends live just 40 minutes away! Airport close! Shopping in Durango dnd Cortez perfect distance away! The farm Bistro in Cortez is amazing a must to eat, Taquillas Mexican food is the best! We loved it!! It was to hot during the day! But we didn’t stay around home much during the day!! Hot tub was great! Host was amazing and the view was spectacular! We want to come back in the winter! Great family place for country……

“This place is a hidden gem! We had a family reunion there which included both older people and young children and it was perfect for everyone. We were able to rent out the entire place which I highly recommend! The kids could run free while the adults talked and caught up. We cooked several meals in the outdoor kitchens which was really easy and fun. All modern conveniences are provided so you get the benefits of camping without all the work. “Two friends from different states, we stayed a week to be part of the Mesa Verde Writers Conference and Literary Festival (respectively), plus explore a bit afterwards. So close to town, yet--with running water music on either side of our spacious wall tent--in another world entirely, we couldn't ask for a better vacation base. “My brother's and I booked this cabin for my parent's 50th anniversary. The host went out of her way to prepare an arrangement for them to have on arrival. They were so accommodating and helpful! My parents loved the views and loved the location as it is within driving distance to all the surrounding sights to see! This area is one of their favorite places to vacation. They said they would book this place again and truly enjoyed the stay! They brought their fan from home knowing there was no A/C……
