“As always, our stay at Under Canvas was phenomenal! A comfortable, easy camping experience that truly allowed us to relax and enjoy the incredible beauty of the White Mountains! The tent was clean and spacious, and the grounds were easy to navigate. The staff was kind and enthusiastic. We would recommend a trip with Under Canvas over and over again! This was our 8th Under Canvas stay, and we will most definitely take the opportunity to stay again! The one thing we missed this time was a full……

“Toiletries were useless. Inadequate towels, soap the size of a dime. Bed and pillows awful Cont breakfast consisted of two loaves of opened bread, jam containers not clean and almost empty, a dozens or so of mini donuts in a tupper- ware container,,,,,,at 7 AM coffees was ice cold. No staff available. Their biggest concern is to over charge all guests that have pets. this place has decreased in performance over the years. I will never stay there again.”

“Staying here was a unique experience because the hotel is full of historic charm and character. The rooms were quirky but clean, and the window air conditioners kept them comfortably cool even on hot days. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a shared bathroom between the rooms, which worked well for us. The only downside was the clawfoot bathtub, which made showering a bit challenging. The location was excellent—right on the main street with plenty of restaurants and charming shops just steps……

“Vieille chambre rétro, nous étions 2 et nous avions qu’une seule serviette. La télévision était non fonctionnelle jusqu’à temps qu’on la débranche et qu’elle se reset d’elle même. Le point le plus dérangeant: les souris. On les entendais la nuit gratter et se promener DANS LA CHAMBRE! Beaucoup d’excréments trouvés à travers la chambre dont dans la machine à café. Parfait pour dormir mais rien de plus. La piscine était belle.”

“The Inn is a lovely spot for a quiet and relaxing break. Tech free! So don't plan on watching a world cup game on your room TV! One thing not mentioned in the reviews is that they have these cool stave puzzles you can put together in one of the sitting rooms. When planning your trip, try to arrange it for W-S when their restaurant is open. The breakfast is served every day, and lived up to its reputation. The staff are unusually friendly and helpful!
