“Our AC did not work correctly and most rooms the balcony is not private. The breakfast was small and average. It does have a great location!!”

“A fine room with tasteful western decor and good views of the surrounding landscape. Simple instructions for checking in without a front desk and a quick response to my comments. Highly recommended.”

“The worst part was the kitchen: a tiny sink for washing large dishes (there was no dishwasher), dusty and greasy tableware, and only three chairs and a table for a booking for four people. The staff made no attempt to find a solution; the fourth person had to eat standing up. The air conditioning was inadequate and very noisy. The only nice touch was the s'mores by the fire, but that was nowhere near enough to justify the very high price of the stay!”

“It was an awesome place. Very clean and staff was awesome. Always maintaining everything. Path along the river leads to town which is about 1/2 mile away. 2 hot tubs and BBQ pit. All the guest were friendly and talkative in the BBQ area. The Smokehouse restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner.”

“Very nice stay. It has a family feel in ownership, very kind. Room was clean, good amenities, nice extras like a group sitting area with a gas fire pit. Sits on a creek, need to get close to the bank for a view but it is literally about 20 feet from the social area. Close walk to Main St. and to restaurants on 7th, both within a 100 foot walk. Ok, me and the missus just discussed what was wrong (I hate all one sided reviews), so hear it goes. A couple of loungers or ADK chairs on the slope……

“I liked the style of the house and the decorations. I loved the concept of eating breakfast at the dinner table with other guests. My only complaint was that we did not know how to get tv stations on our nice TV. The instructions on the tv were not helpful. It was the inn keeper’s day off. We were given instructions on how to contact her if there were any problems, which we decided not to do. ”
