"The inn is in an old historic building, with lots of original character. Fantastic to have parking. Great location, short walk to town. We stayed in the Victory room on the first floor. Very spacious, clean and nice bedding on comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot and good water pressure. Things to know: We had a window AC but no thermostat to control heat (fortunately we had ideal weather). We were next to a restaurant in the building so had to keep curtains closed as people were walking...

"Our room was very nice. Comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful! Hot breakfast, cold options, juice coffee, fresh fruit! Large breakfast area- well stocked and clean! Location is walking distance to town and right beside the Carousel Theatre. We were very pleased with this choice!!!"

"The cottage is small but well laid out for two people. Parking is covered, which is great any time of the year.The cottage is on a dead end street so it's very quiet. There are French doors that open to a spacious backyard with a hammock and a sitting area with a fire pit near the tidal pond.The galley kitchen is right at the entrance and runs down the side of the house. It has all the essential tools and pans, though a saucepan would be a great addition. I made do with what was there and I cooked for myself most nights.Bring your favorite Keurig pods and any spices and oils if you plan on cooking. There's a supermarket a couple of miles away that you're likely to pass often. If you want lobsters or any fresh seafood to cook, Google is your friend. You're sure to find a harborside fishmonger that will have what you want."

"Pros:House was spacious.Kitchen, bathrooms and floors were cleaned before we arrived.Kitchen was well stocked.Kitchen drawers and cabinets were labeled.There was plenty of toilet paper and the shampoo, body wash, etc. were nice.The washer and dryer worked well.The location was a good base for sightseeing by car.The house was quiet even though on a main street.Cons:House and grounds felt neglected. There were spiders and cobwebs around the baseboards and even in one of the kitchen drawers. There were crumbs and other small debris on the kitchen drawer liners. There was a dead tree or shrub trunk in the front yard. The house needs a good deep clean and inspection.The dish sponge provided was not new and looked like it had been used many times.There was only one almost empty box of facial tissue and no laundry detergent.The owner was not able to arrange for the light fixture over the kitchen sink to be repaired during our 3-night stay.The location is not suitable for taking a pleasant walk right from the house.The water heater provides enough hot water for only two showers at a time, and that assumes the washer is not using hot water.The screened porch did not look inviting as pictured in the ad."

"This place was beautiful inside and out. It was almost like brand new, only 5 minutes from Boothbay harbor and everything you needed was there.It's in the woods and very private. You do have a neighbor if it's rented as it is a duplex but that was not a problem and it turned out the neighbor was flying home to Florida on the same flight as us. We live near each other, it's a small world after all. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10, and I would return."
