"The hotel is okay. The room wasn't ready at 3.30 pm. The key didn't work, reception just didn't care. The room was noisy. The breakfast wasn't good for us, fruit was excellent but other choices were poor. The staff ,some good some not so good. Coffee wasn't offered. It gets very busy and the system is slightly chaotic. No one at reception asked if we'd had a good stay. Or said thank you. The best bit was the airport shuttle the driver was great. Very disappointed by the experience. "

"Hands down one of the most beautiful hotels I have every stayed at. The grounds are exceptionally well kept, the staff are super helpful and friendly, and the views are one of a kind. The steps to climb are steep but there are many staff available to help you carry your luggage. The room was small but it didn't matter because we much preferred to spend our time exploring the property. The dinner was delicious and we also loved swimming in the lake. I cannot preface enough that this hotel is a MUST stay when visiting Lake Atitlan, even if just for one night. "

"Be careful what you book here. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and our room was directly across from an active construction site with hammering and sawing noises coming through the walls all afternoon. We also had no exterior windows, only a window into the interior hallway / courtyard so we had to keep the blinds closed the whole time. It is very conveniently located for the airport but because of this you also hear planes landing overhead all night, so definitely pack ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. "
