This property in Guayama was not as good as we anticipated & sad to say because, the home has beautiful mountain/ costal views that with the expected amenities, attention to cleanliness, would be a fantastic stay for anyone to enjoy. -When you walk in there is a damp smell in the house. The sponges, Brillo pads & towels were dirty. Appliances hadn't been cleaned, floors/fans/stairs had dust accumulation. The damp smell was coming from the AC units in all 3 bedrooms. Mild cool air coming from 2 of the AC. We contacted the owner and he could not come to check on it until the morning. After we did some investigating on our own, we found that the filters had not been replaced or clean in a very long time. The concern here is that when neglected, dirty air vents circulate dust and dampness around the home. When the owner came by in the morning to check we told him about the filters, and he said that he could not get anyone there until 10/29. So, he dropped of a fan which did not help in the 98 degrees. The linen towels are a grungy dirty white. The bed sheets were stained, the pillows were yellowish color and the mattress covers where full of dirt or sand.oms were shocking. The soap scum that was left behind on the shower doors, tile walls and tile floor was appalling and awful. We had to wash some of this out with Clorox and ware to take a shower. The shower heads were clogged with scum so only a few of the waterspouts worked.
