“We stayed in the Grand Pier suite (ocean view) for my daughter’s wedding at a nearby venue. We hosted the bridal party for the morning (hair, makeup, photographer) and the first thing the everyone said when they came to the suite was “Wow!” The amazing view and natural light, the beautifully renovated suite with enough space for the bride and 4 bridesmaids to get ready, the staff who accommodated us with extra coffee, cream, and a few other extra treats in the morning were so appreciated! “The cottage is well maintained. The little touches are nice, books to read, games available to play, doodle art book to color. The host and hostess went beyond to make sure I was settled in and comfortable. They even provided me breakfast foods so that I could eat before leaving as I had to leave before their scheduled breakfast time. Their property reflects their pride in their home. Their warm greetings made me wish I had more time than the overnight stay booked. Very friendly folk!”

“We enjoyed our stay overall. The property is very quaint and peaceful, and we loved our ocean-view villa — it was comfortable, beautiful, and a lovely place to spend a few days on Mayne Island. Unfortunately, all of the resort amenities, including the pool, hot tub and sauna, were under maintenance during our stay, so we weren’t able to use any of them. It made the property feel less like a resort and more like an Airbnb-style stay where you’re largely on your own. We also ate at the……
