“Breakfast had these awesome ratings but it was really, really poor. Parking was in an adjacent hotel but not allowed outside Thatch which was odd when there are a minimal amount of rooms. It meant parking, carrying bags and then parking again. “The cottage is well maintained. The little touches are nice, books to read, games available to play, doodle art book to color. The host and hostess went beyond to make sure I was settled in and comfortable. They even provided me breakfast foods so that I could eat before leaving as I had to leave before their scheduled breakfast time. Their property reflects their pride in their home. Their warm greetings made me wish I had more time than the overnight stay booked. Very friendly folk!”

"Room is rather spacious for 2 people. The bathroom is clean. The shower can be stronger Flow but temperature easily adjustable. Breakfast has only one meat option - sausage or meatballs on each day I was there. Another protein option is egg. Good self-service waffle machine. Location is excellent - close to the inner harbour and legislative assembly."
