“This property has been very well maintained - it is the same in 2026 as it was 15 years ago with several original staff members. One of the best changes, couples only, no kids. It's a very chill & relaxed boutique hotel with fabulous rooms. The staff is friendly & accommodating. Don't like your pillow? Well, there's a pillow menu to choose from! Want something to eat at 2am? There's 24/7 room service! Want a delicious steak? Go to the steak house and for goodness sake, DO NOT MISS the Agua Viva……

“Great stay. I have stayed at a lot of secrets. It did not disappoint. I am a beach person and would have really liked better beach shade on the non preferred side. Most of them have it. The umbrellas were just not like the huts. Restaurants all great. I didn’t like the drive in the golf cart to there restaurants but the layout just doesn’t permit them within walking distance. Beautiful place. Nice pools. Plenty of seating. Great staff.”

“The staff was wonderful however we had a couple MAJOR issues. Our original room had no A/C, we could never get fresh clean pool towels and there was glass in my granola!”

“Property was a nice quiet space away from the party scenes of Cancun but close enough to still have a wonderful time. The amenities in the hotel encourage a cultural immersion atmosphere which allows you to learn about the island, its people, and the history of their behavior patterns (we loved the sunrise walk). Pilates was intense! Somethings to work on: the spa had a non relaxing smell that I would not try given the smell. Only one restaurant open on Sunday night is unacceptable for an all……

“WOW! Did not expect such a beautiful stay as the one we had. My group had 2 rooms and they were both suites- ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. It was like a small apartment fully equipped with a washer and dryer! My parents absolutely loved this place. The entire staff was so pleasant especially the person who checked us in unfortunately I did for get his name. Very pleasant stay, we are so happy.”
