“We have stayed at Portage Lake every summer for the past 18 years so we were familiar with the location and layout of the condos. This one is very well decorated, so cute! View of the lake is amazing. The cleaning staff is so kind and helpful. The owner is very responsive. Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“Our stay was great and would stay here again for sure. Before check in we were informed that some construction was being done to the unit. Although it did take a little away from the experience we would certainly book here again. It’s a great little area and steps away from Lake Michigan. The downtown area is very neat with many little shops and a riverwalk area. The pools and amenities on site were also greatly appreciated. The unit had all the things needed for a comfortable stay.”

“Everything in the #3 unit was better than described in the listing ! The questions or circumstances that arose during checking were answered promptly and professionally. The rating of “good” on cost was given only because I always want things to be less expensive. The actual cost for the space, services and amenities provided was more than fair. Not one person in 10 could claim there wasn’t enough room. The view was great and the owner, Tom, went out of his way to call and help me with an……

“Great property. Comfy for my kids while we stayed on the boat. Great weekend. Highly recommend”

“This stay was perfect for our family of 4. The place was clean and organized. Very peaceful and relaxing. The communication was very good. The hot tub was nice and the heated pool was great to swim in on the cooler nights in June. Driving to see the sun set on Lake Michigan was just 3 minute drive. If your looking for a nice relaxing place this is it.”

“We loved our stay here! We booked all four units and it worked out perfectly for what we needed. Would stay again!”

“Location was great, room was cute. Wifi signal very bad to the point we couldn't even watch a movie. No hot water in the bath sink. Day 2 we realized our door wasn't locking. Was told 45 minutes. 2 hours later a guy comes and says, it's the battery and he doesnt have one but it's ok, they never have had any problems. That was unacceptable. Finally a little over an hour later the owner showed up and fixed it and actually showed us how to use it! She said the directions were all written down in……

“We had a wonderful trip. This property was beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. Our favorite part was the short walk out our back door to the private beach to watch the sunset every night. Several minor issues that the property manager took care of in a very prompt and efficient manor. We highly recommend this property and will be back again!”

“If you need a boutique place to stay Dala House checks the boxes. However, the price is ridiculously high.”

“We liked our stay! The beach is beautiful.”
