“The property is beautiful and the views are stunning. The rooms could use a refresh but overall it was a pleasant stay for 6 nights. We would stay there again.”

“Great view of the lake out back. They had a band, a bar, decks to walk out on and benches. The bed was clean and comfy. The smell of the room hit me instantly. Smelled like they vacuumed with an old dusty vacuum. It smelled like stinky socks or Cheetos, just in the room. No casino even though it's advertised on the hotel title. Quite expensive, but I think you're paying for the tourist destination right on the lake and next to the beach.”

“This was a wonderful, very clean and cute cottage by the river. It was spacious, perfectly designed, and a great location with the river off the back porch. The town of Big Fork was within walking distance.”

“Stayed in several properties throughout our trip and this was by far the best. Room looks brand new, hot water, very comfy bed. Adorable rustic lodge, comfy robes and French press coffee in room. Breakfast was included in price and delicious. Stopped at the coffee/gift shop adjacent to the lodge and it had so many cute items and the latte was top notch. Kiddos had some refreshers and said they were delicious, too. Don’t miss out on this property. I’d love to come back and stay for a few nights……

“Decent property with lovely views of Flathead Lake. Good value for the $$. Very large rooms. Beds are a bit firm and you can hear highway noise from units facing the lake. Basic breakfast provided.”

“Our hostess was a friendly and informative person who gave great tips about the area’s attractions. She’s an amazing chef as well. Simon, the parrot, is a fine cohost who will welcome you and make some clever comments. I would recommend staying here.”

“Not enough amenities for the price charged per night. The coffee pot had mold in the water chamber. Light bulb out in the bathroom”

“The property was not what I expected. That’s why I give it an “okay”. I think it would be good for someone that’s with a male, security, as it’s at ground level. It would be great for someone that’s used to camping, roughing it, and not looking for the fluff of a standard hotel. Entry was obtained via a coded lockbox. You had to call the rental company. I didn’t like that. I was totally caught off guard.”

“It was a great experience. It was a real teepee. If you are looking for hotel type amenities this is not the place. Three things know. Take a flashlight for those midnight bathroom trips. Charge your phone before you go. And expect a unique experience.”

“For what it is, and for the price it is a really great place to stay. If you are into outdoor activities its a must do. Lee is a great host and the shop cat is real sweet. ”

“We were fully prepared to stay in a teepee, which we knew would not have electricity and other amenities. We were expecting to camp in a fun tent. Our surprise came when we realized that there was no "floor" to the teepee. There were nice outdoor rugs across the space, but there was no connection with the sides of the teepee, and around the edges of the sides were grasses 2 feet high. The biggest suggestion I could share is for the owner to add tarps to the bottom of the teepee. It all worked,……

“I feel that the photos on the website were misleading about this particular property. It implied that it was on the lake. It is not. Also, it is very dated, and needs a lot of upgrading. The bed was comfortable. And the place was clean overall. The property manager was available to speak with at 11:30 PM, which was cool.”

“It is a very unique property, with a beautifully furnished tent, and an outside walk to the separate kitchen and bathroom facility. No water in the tent itself. Many deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife add to the charm, and the.view of the Mission Mountains must be magnificent on a clear day. Unfortunately, the weather on our three-day stay was cold, foggy, and a constant downpour of heavy rain. We never saw the mountains, the sky, or the stars.”
