“The Virginian is a small and older motel in small town southern Virginia. If you are looking for a bed for a few nights this is the place. If you're looking for fancy, look elsewhere, The staff was helpful, the beds comfortable, and the location convenient for what I needed. It is also pet friendly for a $10 per night pet fee, much less than I have paid elsewhere.”

“Perfect location right off the Blueridge Parkway. Under new ownership , being renovated, Hardwood floors, large bathroom, very comfortable bed and pillows.”

“Room was not clean. Carpet was dirty. Empty pop bottle and plastic Chick-fil-a bag were under the head of both sides of the bed. The storage bin under the microwave had a large Chick-fil-a bag that contained a box and the rest of the diner's trash. Night staff did not seem to care about dirty room.”

“We needed a landing spot for a long drive to the beach and this place fit the bill. In fact, many of the guests were doing the same thing. Check in was easy. Property is dated but obviously cared for. Rooms were clean and updated. Paint was peeling off the bathroom door, but it didn’t bother us. We arrived in time to sit by the pool for a few minutes but before we could do that, we had to sign a waiver. The pool was supervised by management and rules were clearly posted. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Peaceful Getaway with Beautiful Views! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at A Mighty Oak Bed and Breakfast. The property is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and we loved seeing the beautiful view of Pilot Mountain right from the farm. The friendly animals added such a nice touch it felt warm, relaxing, and full of charm. Our suite was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. Todd and Lisa were amazing hosts — so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious,……

“Pool could be cleaner. Stuff floating on surface of water. Breakfast room in air conditioned. Food at breakfast was very minimal. Bathroom floor could be cleaned such that it didn’t appear dirty.”
