“This was the perfect location for our family. The teens could come & go as they please since we were just one house off the boardwalk. House was fantastic too. Nothing fancy but just what we needed. Plenty of room for our family to hang out in the evening & watch movies. We had a couple minor issues but Mike was extremely helpful & quick to communicate. We will most definitely be booking again.”

“The house is perfectly located and just walking distance to town. Perfectly decorated and spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The garden is spectacular and a wonderful place to gather. The host was responsive and gave great recommendations for local food and activities. “We knew we wanted to stay in OB to hang at Dog Beach, and I chose this place because of the proximity to the beach (maybe a 4 minute walk), and the dog washing station! This property has street parking and isn’t so bad if you time it right (wait for people to go to work and you’ll get a close spot). The property is set back from the street and quiet. Inside has everything you need, even dog bowls (course we forget them)! The treat jar was a special touch as well. We had plenty of towels,……

“Everything about this cute little house was perfect. Great outside area, beautiful well appointed kitchen, spotless and lovely. Great location for walking to the beach or to get a coffee. Highly recommend, would stay here again”

“Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation.”

“Had we known all of the doorways were less than 6’ tall we would have passed on this quaint little cottage. Other than that we enjoyed the location, having bikes available, walking on all the great paths up and down the coast and around the bay.”

“The cottage was beautiful and true to the listing it was a short walk to the beach. We brought our two dogs with us, which was great to find a place that allowed pets. It was nice having a full kitchen, though I didn’t read prior to that there was no microwave. But that would be the only negative I have. I also am not sure if I just couldn’t figure out the pull out couch situation (not enough bed space with my wife and baby). I tried to see handles to pull out a bed but didn’t see any. It might……

“Place was sparkling when we arrived. Codes worked as expected, despite my brain. Never got the original email but Michael remedied that rapidly. The venue was completely as described. There was a great hot tub. A couple of gas grills (lucky as one of them was out of propane, the other did the trick!). Parking in the garage for one car was great! If you have a second car, prepare to be super patient as street parking full. You’re only a couple blocks from the most beautiful sunset San Diego has……

“This property is a little gem among the bigger condos. Lovely landscaping for each unit. Small kitchen but has everything you need. Walkable to dining options and to the beach area. Would definitely come back again in the area. ”

“Situated in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, and the ocean, the cottage offered a perfect balance of comfort, privacy and convenience. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed being able to read, write, and bird watch on the private balcony that overlooks a tranquil garden. On-street parking was readily available anytime of day and check-in/check-out was easy as pie. Many thanks to Mark and Marty for being excellent hosts! Hope to see you again……
