“We absolutely loved our stay at The Cove. The room is so adorable and was very clean and comfy. We were within walking distance of downtown Salem and enjoyed the walk. The staff was amazing and helped us figure out what to do while we were there. We will definitely be back!”

“This is hands down the best hotel in Salem. Right in the center of everything and on the water. Great restraunts nearby and has a nice restraunt onsite. Walking distance to everything.”

“They added a $10 a day parking fee. The other hotel chains I normally stay at don't do that. They also advertise free internet but you need to make an account to access it. The speeds for their "free" package were so slow that even watching Netflix on their room TV kept buffering and dropping quality. The staff were very nice and the hotel was clean but I wouldn't stay again with Marriot or this location.”

“This is a very budget motel. I was only staying one night, but there was no dresser or closet or even a shelf, if I wanted to unpack anything from my bag; just two hooks on the wall over the table. The motel had a very dingy feel to it-- not dirty, per se, but dingy. Stains on the ceiling, cigarette burn in the blanket. No tissue box. The toilet tissue wasn't folded over like I usually see in hotels to indicate the room had been cleaned, so I could only hope that it had been. Additionally, the……

“Rooms were clean. Only one elevator working for the three days we were there. This hotel is the”go to” for large groups. There were at least two different groups of teens there at the same time as us. May want to book somewhere else if you are looking for quiet.”

“I’ll first start by saying I didn’t even spend the night so can’t speak to that and as a parent of 2 youth hockey players we have been in some fairly low end motels. This one is probably the worst. The smell in the room of what I’m guessing was urine or whatever you use to cover it up got worse when we turned on the exhaust fan. The hallway had garbage bags, seemed as though their vacuum was broken or no one knew how to use it. There wee people in pajamas sitting on the floor in the lobby. The……
