“The cottage was impeccably clean! Appreciated all the renovations. The young couple managing the place could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to help me when I needed it. The bikes need maintenance - rusty chains, wobbly handle bars, breaks that freeze up. You could use some more kitchen tools. I was glad to have the kitchen as parking at the beaches cost so much money! Thank you, great stay. Grey”

“The property was as described in the online listing. The only two issues we had: We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the ceiling fan in the living room (it was always on at high speed)There was a sulfur odor in the neighborhood at times, which we found out from neighbors that is a thing in Sanibel. Nothing to do with the property itself.”

“My husband and I stayed mid-March for 7 days. The weather cooperated and it was sunny and mid-70’s all week! The Ibis cottage was perfect for the two of us and it was far enough away from the commerce area that it was peaceful and quiet. We never ran out of activities and excursions mixed in with beach days. It was very helpful to have the Tradewinds beach available as all the other beaches were challenging to find parking. If there was any downside to our stay it was the lack of laundry……

“Cute room that had everything we needed. Bikes and beach wagons were a nice addition. Close to lighthouse with good restaurant and ice cream shop across the street. The only negative was that the hot water ran out quickly during showers. Nice to see Sanibel rebounding from the hurricanes. ”

“Enjoyed our stay. Perfect sized cottage for the two of us. Wish the bathroom had a shelf for cosmetic bags and dop kits, but we managed. Liked the beach access and parking pass even though it was a long walk from the parking lot to the beach. Communication with the owners was very was good. No dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no hair dryer but towels and beach chairs (too low for us old folks) were provided. Umbrella would have been nice. Lots of the island things to do were within……

“Just spent a wonderful week on beautiful North Captiva with our family. The house had everything we needed and the property managers were great.”

“This is the second time I have stayed here for several months during the winter season, and it's great. Very comfortable home, great heated pool in the complex, beautiful landscaping, and a wonderful screened-in porch. Have already booked for next year!”

“Nice little place for the two of us. We enjoyed many pleasant walks north to the downtown and riverfront area, and east toward the Edison Winter Estate and along McGregor. Easy to drive to the various places we went for golfing, shopping, spring training baseball, etc. We were initially surprised to learn of the studio apartment right behind our space on the property, but the tenant was quiet, respectful and usually away during normal workday hours. We didn’t park in the carport to better……

“We really enjoyed our time here. The house is in a great location with plenty of privacy. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks, and the closeness of the put-in was great. Well stocked with everything we needed - even a stacked washer/dryer. Has a homey feel as another reviewer said. There is a grocery store nearby and a good amount of restaurants around. We would both highly recommend a stay here.”

“Fantastic stay. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need: beach towels, laundry soap, dish soap, extra trash bags, board games, even a portable crib which was perfect for our toddler. We truly felt at home here. We were disappointed the pool was not heated, and it was quite cold, so we didn’t swim during our stay. However, the lanai was beautiful, and we enjoyed relaxing out there. Right around the corner is a Walmart so grocery shopping was very easy. Very safe and quiet……
