The rooms are clean, the staff is wonderful, and the food is consistently delicious. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, with everything you need just a 2–5 minute walk away. West Bay is easily accessible by a $5 water taxi that departs right outside the hotel, and the airport is only a $25 taxi ride. The dock space is the best around and perfect for watching……

“My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see.”

“Love this place, perfect location right on the beach beside the best bar on the beach, on the calmer side of half moon bay (less road traffic). Rooms are simple and cute, good air conditioning all with a little balcony patio, table and chairs and hammock surrounded by manicured jungle and plants, serene but steps away from the action. Staff is lovely and helpful, I picked the perfect spot, highly recommend!”

“We had a great week at Caribe Tesoro. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach and overlooking the water. It’s a small boutique hotel so it didn’t feel busy and the staff are always available to help you. The breakfast menu is somewhat limited but all of the options are great. We will definitely stay at Caribe Tesoro again. ”
