“I have not stayed here for years and was surprised to see that its still a Brend Hotel ( family hotel). I went for breakfast and it was a traditional waiter service breakfast eg you are shown to a table, another waiter takes your order, you choose the items you want and its freshly cooked ( no food sitting under a heated light)”

“I stood at this family guesthouse for four nights when travelling on business in the area during May-June. The rooms are all upstairs, tidy neat, well-lighted and nicely decorated. You enter by their restaurant which, by the way, has very tasty seafood platters every day made by chef Steve, who also prepares an excellent English breakfast every morning. Hotel was lovely, renovated, very nicely done. We booked deluxe double, it was very big, really lovely, sea front , perfect. Minehead is close to the moor, short drive up to viewing points.
