"Every time my husband and I stay here we wish we had stayed longer and book our next stay for the following year. Although it rained the entire time we were there, it was still relaxing and beautiful. The neighboring small towns are fun to explore as well. The South Beach Fish Market just up the street has delicious seafood to take home. We always get the dungeness crabs (eat cold) and this time got halibut and cooked it on the charcoal BBQ for fish tacos. Best we've ever had! The hosts are very responsive and helpful!!"

"This property was so much better than we expected based on the photos. It's spacious, well-appointed, and the views are stunning. It's not fancy and it's "dated," but it's incredibly cozy and functional. The hot tub is such an awesome feature and is 99% private. There's one neighbor that could catch a glimpse of you if they really put the effort in. But if you want to sit naked in a hot tub overlooking the ocean, this is a pretty safe place for it. The kitchen leaves a bit to be desired--all of the pans are pretty beat up. The knives are dangerously dull. That's really my only big gripe about the property. The beach access is a little tricky, as others have mentioned. There's a staircase part of the way and then, yes, it's a steep dirt trail. There is a rope to assist with going up and down. We managed to navigate it while carrying chairs both up and down. It isn't THAT bad. And if you're familiar with the Oregon Coast, you'll know that this is pretty average beach access. The beach itself was amazing. Sandy and EMPTY. What a treat. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. One bedroom has a fairly firm bed while the other is softer. There is only one full bathroom and it is not attached to either bedroom (no true master), which is totally fine. Just something to note if you're wanting privacy. It was clean, safe, and comfortable with stunning beach views and private access. What more can you ask for?! Book it!"

"We stay every year in Newport for our daughters, gymnastics meet. We’ve tried a number of different houses and this is one of our favorites,. The only negative would be a somewhat poorly equipped kitchen (pans that need replaced, no hot mitts, no colander) and the beds were quite soft. The views were amazing. Access to the beach was fabulous. Loved the fire pit."
