Family Vacation

We just had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was perfect, and the accommodations were superb. We particularly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and resort amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A couple of minor suggestions for improvement: the master shower downstairs has a bit of a whistling sound, especially when someone is using the shower upstairs. Updating the shower heads to more modern ones would be a great enhancement. Overall, our experience was wonderful

Great location! Great house!

This house is in a perfect location for a Disney vacation! We easily went back and forth from the parks with little to no traffic. The listing is accurate and house was clean. The owners were very responsive and great hosts! The neighborhood is lovely. There is a great neighborhood pool that we didn’t have the time to use, but a quick swim in the pool at the house and soak in the hot tub was a great way to break from the parks! There are so many bedrooms and bathrooms! This is a great house for a large family or multiple families. A bathroom for every bedroom!

Amazing property!

We've just returned from 2 weeks staying in this villa. It's been a great place for us - we were impressed by the cleanliness of the place and how accurate the pictures were in capturing what the property is like. Kitchen was well stocked with all the tools needed and the villa was well furnished throughout. I'm struggling to think of anything we were disappointed by.We enjoyed the pool facilities very much - pool heating as an extra is essential, and has a hot tub which works really well. I've had various communications with John since booking this villa, each time messages were responded to quickly and helpfully. It's been an ideal experience of using Vrbo, and we were really glad we booked this place. Windsor Hills itself is set up for holidaying families like ourselves. We actually didn't use the communal facilities as much as we originally expected, but when we did we were happy with the large communal pool (it was incredibly warm!) as well as the 'market place' which sells essentials as well as a selection of take out food (not amazing food but good enough).Having not used Vrbo before and with this property having relatively few reviews compared to others, there was a bit of apprehension of what we'll encounter - fortunately you can be assured it is genuine and John (the owner) is a genuine and decent person.I'm sure we'll return to Florida in the future, and when we do this place will definitely be on our shortlist.

Can’t wait to go back!! Highly recommend!

We absolutely recommend this property!! There were 9 people in our party and it was very spacious. The house was very clean and just as described. Any questions I had, John was super quick at getting back to us. We spent more time just hanging out at the house on our vacation because we enjoyed the property so much. The highlights of the house were the spacious living room and dining areas as well as the themed rooms. My 6 year old LOVED the Encanto room and bathroom. We had 0 problems with the pool and we found the spa to be an actual hot tub which was AWESOME! The kitchen was also well stocked with cookware/utensils. We look forward to visiting this property again on vacation.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful villa!

We had a wonderful stay in John & Ciara’s villa for 8 days in May 2023. John was very pleasant to deal with – very responsive and helpful with any queries we had. Windsor Hills location is excellent for theme parks and shopping and it is nice having the security of staying in a gated community. And this villa is very well located within Windsor Hills – it is walkable to the community facilities and close to the entrance so easy for driving in and out (and there’s a big Walmart 5 minutes away!). Check-in was very easy – at the security booth, at the villa and for access to the Windsor Hills amenities like the community pool and gym. We have stayed in this villa before and the updated décor is lovely – very modern and fresh. The kitchen is well equipped and the updated appliances (including huge washer and dryer) were very much appreciated. The pool and hot tub were heated to a very pleasant temperature and we spent most evenings there / outdoors in the lanai. We look forward to staying here again!

Super nice place

This is a great place to stay for families. I liked the extra things they have for kids (books, toys, beach buckets and towels, and small cooler and drink huggies, etc). Game room was nice, pool area was relaxing. Cool park for kids is right across the street. Kids loved the water park and big heated pool. We did not use the hot tub as it never really got hot. The owner is very responsive too. There are several annoying things to be aware of though. First is the irritating fact that you must buy or bring all of your own supplies except for toilet paper. I have never stayed at a VRBO that does not include basics like paper towels, dish soap and washer detergent, trash bags, or laundry detergent (although they request you wash the towels if possible). It is a real hassle to buy all of these things when they can be supplied so cheaply. At least people should be made aware to know exactly what to bring. I left salt and pepper and condiment packets; hopefully they wont get thrown out! Usually the supplies other people bring are left which is really nice, but not here! Nothing is stocked. The other thing is the security gate. When I got there it was a long line with a time consuming check in. Make sure you have the registration email from the owner. I had to have it emailed to an alternate address as I never received it. If you have any visitors you also must have the owner register them or they will not get in. They have to register at the gate as well. Overall it was one of the nicest places I have stayed at and would stay again. I really appreciated the quick owner response. Just be aware of the "self catering" no supplies policy and security gate issues. Also be aware you have to strip the beds and bag and take out the trash before leaving. That can be a hassle with early morning flights.

Our stay in this villa was wonderful. Villa could not be faulted in any way. Check in and villa entry easy. All information stated was correct and any questions before and during booking answered quickly and honestly by John, a fantastic host. A couple of issues arose during stay but sorted within minuets, not hours, with a very efficient maintenance setup. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone. If I return to Orlando I would not hesitate to book this villa again. FANTASTIC

Beautiful and spacious home

The pictures didnt show the real beauty and how spacious the house was. The only negative I had was there's no handrails for the pool so it's hard for me to get on and out of the pool due to a disability with my foot. This has no bearings on the house just a personal issue for me. The children LOVED the pool to the point they didnt go to the community pool so I cant give a review on the common area. I will gladly stay at this property again.

Great house, quite large

Everything was really really great about the house, location. Having three king bedrooms all with private baths worked great and the kids loved the themed bedrooms. My only critique is we had to buy additional TP, there was only one roll of paper towels and not much soap, shampoo etc… thinking it was provided, one little tube for four nights was not enough. Also, we were expected to start a load of towels (which is totally fine) but no laundry detergent. Thankfully my daughter in law brought some powdered detergent. The kids big and small, all loved the house and was plenty of room for our family of nine.

Wonderful Family Home

We loved our stay at John and Ciara’s home in Windsor Hills! It was the perfect location- close to Disney Parks, a walmart and lots of restaurants. The house was equipped with everything we needed and very clean. We enjoyed days and evenings in the pool and hot tub. John was an excellent host! He was quick to respond to any questions we had and was very helpful.

We were very happy with our stay at your rental house. Very clean and well maintained. Communication with John was very good as well the people that look after the property were very attentive. We needed to call them once and they showed up right away and looked after us. I would stay here again for sure. We did not use the resort amenities but the pool on the website looks much larger than it actually is.

Fantastic location, property and home

Excellent house that is just as described in a desirable neighborhood! Fantastic access to Disney (15 minutes door to door) that felt like it was a peaceful paradise! Community pool and hot tub was excellent and easy to walk or drive to. Hot tub and pool at the house was nice, but not super warm even with the heat. We used it during our down days, but not at night. Great kitchen that had everything you needed to cook and prep meals. Would definitely stay here again!! Great home for multiple generations - three first floor bedrooms with bathrooms. Highly recommend!!

Issues with hot tub

The only problem we had was that we paid for heating in the hot tub and it just never seemed to be working properly. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't! So we really only had the hot tub hot for one day!

Perfect location

We were a group of 10 (5 adults and 5 kids ages 6-12) and the house was perfect for us. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom either connected to it or beside it and that no bedroom shared a wall with another bedroom. This was helpful since some of our group were early risers and some were not. The single beds weren’t that comfortable but since we only had kids using them it was okay. We appreciated the adult beds were king sized allowing room for a kiddo to sleep with us if they felt scared etc. The kids loved the pool and enjoyed the club pool as well which was within walking distance. There is also a Wal-Mart a short drive away which made it easy to pop out and grab what we needed. This was really great for our Disney days because we could grab snacks to pack and if we ended up back at the house earlier than we expected we could grab dinner items to cook at the house. Overall it was exactly as pictured/described, suited our needs, and was really the perfect location for doing Disney.
