"The room was not clean, the staff was nice with what interaction I had with them. I did not eat at the hotel and the air conditioner loud and kicked on a lot. Ended up sleeping without it on."

"We attend BikeWeek nearly every year and wanted to try a new place to stay. Reviews here were great, and deceptive. What you actually get is a smaller room, with a “balcony” which is actually a small porch with a view of the parking lot, an excessive per day parking fee and over crowded pools that are not really usable. The main pool is on the smaller size given the facility and was packed with kids and families all week. All seats / lounges taken before breakfast. The adults only pool was also packed, with all spots taken every day. Also, there is a single small burger cafe, that closes at 6:00pm on property, so no real food options or a bar for a drink, nothing you would tend to expect in terms of refreshment options. For the price (over several hundred per day), you get an ok hotel experience with no real fringe benefits. There is nothing here to justify a “resort” cost. "

"We were given a handful makeup remover wipes because the front desk employee wouldn’t give us more than one wash cloth that was in our room for a 3 night stay. Tub and and cabinet where they put the bath towel were filthy. "

"Well first of all layout was great we shared 2 bedroom with another couple. Place was nice beds were a bit lumpy, no elevators and stayed on 3rd floor, it’s a workout for sure. Biggest complaint was our room was located on one of the busiest streets In the world! Felt like we were sleeping on a highway, windows did not block any noise, would have been nice for staff to disclose and when brought to their attention they did not offer any solution but that if we chose to stay with them in future they would recommend we request another room… you think? Floors in room were also dirty, if you were barefoot your feet turned black."

"I was left a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the resort considering it was a 5-Star Fairmont property. There was frequently trash that wasn’t picked up around the pool areas. Empty cups and plates were strewn throughout the property. Just left me asking for more considering how much we paid for our stay. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice resort but I’ve stayed at other 5-Star resorts that were cleaner and more attention to the little details. "
