“The property is dated (it is old/historic!), but the common areas and room were clean. The coffee shop was small but nice and had good coffee/lattes. The woman working the front desk when we checked in and most of the two nights we stayed was nice and helpful. We declined housekeeping and really did not see others working there, so unable to comment on other staff. The AC did not work well so the room was warm. There were fans but it was not enough to cool the rooms to comfortable sleeping……

“The setting and hotel were absolutely lovely! Close by but not right in the center of town, which gets pretty noisy at night. Walking distance to the Taos Plaza and numerous restaurants. “The Old Taos Guesthouse is such a gem. The property is a little outside Taos in a very peaceful setting. The property and the rooms are beautiful and exude character. Coffee and tea are available 24/7. They serve an amazing breakfast, with everything homemade. It was the best quiche I’ve ever had. We enjoyed lounging on the property in the evening and listening to the birds. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Taos.”
