“Room was clean but a little noisy. I would recommend staying on top floor.”

“This was a cute, quiet little hotel close to town but not right in the middle. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! We felt safe! We enjoyed playing cornhole!”

“Even though I checked in at 3 pm I was given a handicapped room across from the laundry room. I had to complain about the noise, as it was just like they were talking in my room. In the morning I complained about the handicap room and the lady said it was all they had. I don’t believe her and I think it was because I was older she thought she could get away with it. The room has no Kleenex and the soap is about the cheapest known to man”

“Great place to stay. At the time of our visit, the hot tub was not usable but we were able to use the pool.”

“The cleaning crew did a great job--our room was always clean and neat. The check in person was disrespectful and short tempered with the female person when we checked in. However, the front desk person was polite and courteous to the male person in the party upon check out. BTW the female person was the person who paid for the room. Breakfast was adequate but simple. The walls are thinning and you could hear other patrons most of the time in our room.”

“This is a very unique place and I really enjoyed my stay. I had a suite and it was very luxurious. I was facing the movie screen which was great on movie night as I could watch from my patio. My only issue was that an hour before the movie they started playing loud music on the speakers. I had just returned from an active day and was enjoying a few quiet moments with a book. There was no escaping all the noise, unlike the volume from the movie, which was reasonable. I was surprised because the……

“Great location close to town. Nice and clean with helpful staff who gave us good advice of places to visit.”

“The staff the One and only person there was Amazing. The room was clean, but not the room we booked. The place was full of sketchy people inside and out. The ceiling was missing panels in the hall ways, the hall way floors were very dirty. The hot tub was a joke. Our friends had people in their room still and they also rented a double queen and were placed in a king suite not what they booked. The doors were missing locks the curtains were dirty. The police were sitting in the parking lot.”

“The motel is fantastic and very cute. the owner was very nice. She really cares about the town, her staff, her business, and making it a unique experience for her customers. Everything is thoughtful put together. Complimentary coffee is the jolt I need to start my day.”

“This was a lovely VRBO. Spacious, clean, well stocked and even fresh flowers! Only hitch was due to my map reading skills- while Expedia claimed it was 19 miles from Great Sand Dunes National Park it was actually an hour drive away! That said there was some other great hiking nearby (recommend Willow Lake Trail). Thanks for a nice stay!”

“Area was quiet and safe. Bed was comfortable. Staff was not very friendly. It was a bit run down and decor was very out dated. Lots of towels provided, but they were very thin. Price was a bit high for a motel. ”

“Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it ”
