“The property is the perfect spot for sitting in nature and enjoying some quiet. I spent most of my time listening to the birds (Summer Tanager, Indigo Buntings, Cardinals very vocal Barred owls, etc.) and watching the sun set over the hills. I couldn't ask for a better stay! The host is very kind and the description of the cabin and area is very accurate. I hope to return at some point in the future. ”

“ Our homeschooling family absolutely loved our stay at La Banque! We came from Hickory, KY and Metropolis, IL to celebrate my son's 12th birthday, and this beautiful old bank turned into the perfect history lesson. “The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It will work for a family of four as well, but I liked how intimate it was for my partner and me. I liked the open concept of the kitchen, eating nook, and living space. The cabin was clean, and the rooms were well-furnished. The property features a spacious yard. We enjoyed using the fire pit and charcoal grill. David is the best host I've ever dealt with. The first night, the oven didn't work, and he arrived to try and fix it. The next day, he returned……
