“Long lines at the front desk on both days of our stay. Housekeeping never showed up to clean our room, despite being requested. And we returned the first evening to find the bathroom floor flooded into the hallway. Upon contacting the front desk, I was asked what we had done to cause the flooding. Then we were told that we would have to move ourselves to another room as the staff was too busy. The next room was a handicapped room. The shower handle came off in my hand the next morning.……

“Room was terrible. Bed was broken. Dirty rags were left from previous days. Vape left under mattress where the sheets hadn’t been changed”

“This was our first time visiting the state of Alabama, we came down to visit Alabama state. Debra, Dakita and the kitchen staff were exceptional, they went above and beyond to make sure that our check in was prompt and smooth. They were very professional, courteous friendly and knowledgeable of the Marriott. They set up my rewards account. Now the breakfast was southern comfort food, the kitchen staff, I have no words and I mean that, he was so pleasant and such a delight to my morning.”

“Very disappointed with our stay. The receptionist was on a phone call while checking us in, and we had to wait for him to finish. This felt unprofessional and not respectful of customers’ time. We booked a King Suite, expecting a comfortable and clean stay after a long road trip, but the room had multiple issues. We found bugs in the room (we caught 8 of them) and noticed stains on the couch, towels, and even the wall. Cleanliness should be the most basic standard, especially for guests staying……

“Very unenthusiastic rude front desk guy. No greeting. Went up to the room he gave us. There was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Thinking it was a mistake, we went in to find the room in disarray and obviously someone still staying there. Went back to front desk, no apology, just rudely gave us another room without a word. Asked for best way to walk to the Civic Center and he just waved his hand in a general direction without a word. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Would not recommend.”
