“I travel often. First time writing a bad review. The rooms in the Holiday inn express in Montgomery New York were so dirty!! I actually feel bad for man at front desk. It's not his fault. It's the company that should replace the filthy rugs and moldy bathrooms. I will never stay in a holiday inn express again. The reviews I read had to be false. It's in a great location. Could be so nice if it was clean. ”

“The location was very convenient, which is why we booked here since it was the closest option to Legoland. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing. The linens did not seem properly maintained, the sofa bed sheets had hair on them, and the main bed sheets had visible stains. The room felt unclean overall, which made the stay uncomfortable. We expected a much higher standard of cleanliness from a Marriott hotel.”

“Checked in a little late. We only came for an event so did not spend an entire day. Within two minutes, there was a power outage. I overheard guests coming back from the front desk share that it's because of "power usage." My daughter and i got dressed and used only the light in the bathroom (Only area that had power interestingly) then the power came back on. Steps leading to the second floor are taped up. “Spectacular stay in Goshen! Beautiful house, breakfast made fresh in front of you, awesome location with the horsetrack right across, and big rooms. ”

“The hotel, although historic, is in good condition. Grounds are lovely, rooms spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and shower was hot. We ate at all three restaurants on site and all were extremely good. Rooftop bar is a must. However it’s the staff that makes the stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful it made the stay even more enjoyable. I would recommend if attending any event on campus to stay there versus outside campus. ”
