'RIVER HAVEN' is a serene riverside cabin on the Rogue River

10/10 Excellent
"We had a great experience overall. Everything worked well, and the home was easy to access. It had a very relaxed, comfortable feel and included all the basic amenities you need for some R&R.The local cat was pretty cool, too! The beds were really soft and comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. One thing to note: the covered parking mentioned in the book on the counter is no longer actually covered, as the tarp has worn away. This wasn’t a big deal, though, because you can park very close to the home. There are residences on both sides, and we had no security concerns.Overall, this place is a great value and has basically everything you need for a relaxing stay. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it."

"Lovely place! It was just the right size for 2 people. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed looking out at the river after a long day of exploring. On that note- We booked this place because we were going to Crater Lake. It was more than an hour away and there is noshing much in between - so make sure you fill up your gas before you go!"

Stay in luxury, minutes from the Lake, perfect for entertaining.

8/10 Good
"This is a custom-built house in a nice secluded spot, and the owners clearly put money into it. The interiors are attractive, there's a nice leather sofa, and the kitchen is well equipped with three sinks. There's plenty of space. That said, as a rental it still needs some improvement. The beds could be more comfortable, and aside from the master, all the other beds are twin size, which is worth knowing if you're traveling with adults or teens.Privacy was lacking. With the exception of the bedrooms, none of the other windows have coverings, which would be fine if this were the only home on the property. But there's a unit upstairs and possibly other occupants in the garage next to the house. The house also has a lot of fragile decorations, so I wouldn't call it ideal for families with young children. There were a couple of small maintenance issues, and the host only responded via text, which was inconvenient when we needed a quicker back-and-forth.One more inconvenience: trash has to be taken to the end of the street, about 200 feet away, far enough that you'd want to drive. A trash can next to the house would be a simple fix. It's a beautiful home, but it was clearly designed as a house first and a rental second. With better beds, window coverings, and a few guest-focused fixes, it could be excellent."
