“A luxurious camping experience with running hot water, electricity, and use of a washer/dryer. Not many places to eat around and the closest "grocery store" is very expensive (12 for a gallon of milk). Make sure you plan ahead and bring mosquito repellent!! ”

“I spent 10 nights here in November. This is a very clean cottage, very well maintained. The owner/host is awesome and was in the area taking care of his other cottages so I spoke with him a couple times. He even stopped by and dropped off a new air fryer for me one day. Worked out great for fish and crabcakes from Pahoa. What’s incredible about this place is the location. It’s right in the middle of the red road along the south eastern cliffs of the big island. this is easily the closest……

“This cottage was perfect for us. Secluded, with everything we needed. Epic sunsets! We actually liked climbing the stairs since we weren't getting as much exercise as usual. The outdoor kitchen is well-stocked and we appreciated the seating areas outside. Everything was clean and comfortable. The furnishings are simple and tasteful, matching the whole feel of the cottage. The hosts were very communicative and helpful.
