“While the room was clean and the staff were polite, the building itself seemed very poorly designed. The hotel is off a main road, and it is very loud whenever a car drives by, if you’re facing the lake you hear every vehicle that passes all night long. If you are on a lower floor, you’ll spend the night hearing your upstairs neighbor every time they take a step, which isn’t something I’ve had trouble with at other hotels. “When I got there I was given a different unit than described. It would not work for my situation. The desk corrected it by giving me another unit. That did not work as well. Guest services got involved and upgraded our reservation to larger condo and it was perfect. I highly suggest always checking out your condo as soon as it’s available. Fortunately we were able to do all this switching between three units around noon instead of after 4 pm. The normal check in time.”
