“My husband and I’s mini-honeymoon stay at the Wayside Inn was great! The room we had was clean, spacious, charming, and cozy all at once. Mr. Joe the innkeeper was very friendly and was always there when we needed him for anything. He also cooks a mean breakfast and has a great knowledge of the unique history of the property. Overall, it was a great place to get away from the bustle and noise of the city and just relax! Hopefully we will get to come back soon 😊”

“This hotel was very nice and we loved the creative restoration and repurposing of the building. It was clean and great location. Not sure we will stay there again though simply because the cost was pretty high but it was a neat spot for an overnight or a weekend in Frederick. ”

“Nice hotel. Very clean. An amazing amount of room for dog walking, This visit, I stayed for two weeks. Many nearby restaurants, gas stations and malls. Very friendly staff. Very pet friendly. I received many text messages from the front desk asking me if there was anything I needed. There were a decent amount of parking spots. During winter weather, the parking lot ice spots could have been treated with more diligence. A suggestion would be a better breakfast buffet. Maybe it was just related to……

“Staff were courteous, easy check in and check out. One problem, the room was cold and the heat didn't work properly, room 222. I didn't ask for help because the clerk was male and I have severe PTSD from sexual violence, I would rather be cold than have a man who is a stranger in my room. Again, staff were great.”
