“There was only one person handling the front desk, she was was on a long phone call helping with a reservation when I arrived. This had me and the others in line waiting quite a bit to be checked in. Lots of staff was around and walking behind the desk but no one else jumped in to help with customers. The pool area was nice, the room was older and smelled like smoke but was today and breakfast needed more options. The hotel did the job for a 1 night stay but it wasn’t anything to write home……

Shampoo in the shower was empty, still on the wall, but empty. The so-called breakfast was a joke. Stale bagels, waffles, but no syrup. There was coffee, but nothing else. No juice of any kind, not even ice water. I personally will never stay again.”
“Great location- beautiful older hotel.

2. The couple we were traveling with found a bed bug on their sheet. Fortunately, there was only one and it WAS dead. The staff was very helpful and though she didn’t think it was a bed bug, they have……
“The historical building was quaint. Inside was clean but there were exterior conditions that need attention. The breakfast bar was ok, but I’m not a breakfast eater, so we didn’t partake.
My husband and I (both senior citizens) were on the 3rd floor. The elevator was out of order. The clerk did offer to carry our luggage up.
The restaurant was closed.”
