Take them up on the free transfer to Murano island, it will save you $$ and is a must see in Venice. Just know that you have to get yourself back (9 euro per person on the ferry) We had an upgraded suite with a canal view and can’t say enough about the room and furnishings. Lots of space, seats and area to spread out (not typical in Europe, especially Venice). The bathroom was large by European standards and very well equipped, including a towel warmer! Typical euro shower with no enclosure and a shower wand with a tub. Lots of amenities in the bathroom and a big sink with mirror. Built in hairdryer and US plug to top it off. Friendly warning, no AC, we didn’t need it in March, but it would be hot in summer. The front desk Manager made our stay! I don’t remember his name, but he was incredibly gracious and helpful, made us feel at home and made great recommendations. Would absolutely stay here again.
