Great place

Great place to stay. Very comfy bed, lovely room and had a shared kitchen. I would definitely stay again if I am ever back in Cleveland.

I loved the Victorian character of this inn. The area around it was very interesting with neat bars and restaurants. Very close to downtown and convenient.

This is our third time staying here. The property is charming and unique. It is located near the heart of the city and so much can be reached by walking down Franklin St. and the adjacent neighborhoods staring at the rich collection of antique homes. Nice common areas, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of coffee help the quests meet and chat. Check-in is easy. Off street parking that is in a locked and gated lot behind the building is a big plus. We will stay again.

Overall the stay was nice. Loved the history of the building and the location. Only complaint was the noise of construction at the time of stay during the mourning. Seems like the city was doing a lot of upgrades to the side wall and roads in the area. Would stay there again.

A true Home away from Home!

I really enjoyed my stay at Stone Gables. My room was clean, quiet, private and comfortable. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating (printed maps and directions so I could find my way around). It was an EXCELLENT place to stay. It was better than some hotels. Private parking was a plus.The décor was wonderful and I loved the food.

Very nice house, room was nice, clean, shower was fantastic, could have used a more comfortable chair in room. Entry to house and room was done with keypad codes texted the morning of visit but everything worked out fine. Neighborhood is very walkable and close to West Side Market area, with plenty of restaurants and breweries.

I accidentally booked our reservation for a day earlier than we needed, I only realised the next day and contacted Connie by text who happily moved our booking which was great of her. Checking in and check out is contactless, you won't meet anyone which was ok for us ws we had a few big days of driving. The area surrounding appears a little rundown but we drove everywhere. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. We would stay again.

Great & unique Ohio City home close to everything

Connie is a great host and very responsive to text messages — as well as being flexible about changing dates of stay and number of people. The house itself is beautifully unique with an old world charm and quirkiness quite unlike the more "corporate" smoothed out places I've stayed in Cleveland before. Lots of stairs, which might be a tough one for some folks depending on ability and mobility, but if you can handle it: totally worth it! And I appreciate the sense of personal care that the owners (who also live in the building) bring to it.

Just ok. It's like a bed & breakfast with no breakfast. Room was kind of weird. No way to work unless you go down to a common area (there's just a bed) and not much room for clothes or luggage. Bed was super soft. Might be good for some people, but not for me.

It was perfect for our one night stay. We were there for a concert. Main bed was very comfortable . Place was clean. Didn’t use kitchen/other amenities. About a 2 mile walk from Huntington Bank Field for reference.

Charming and comfortable!

Very charming and clean! We were so fortunate to find this inn. After looking for a place downtown that could accommodate us and our need for separated sleeping arrangements we had no luck. Our room was so comfortable and set up to give us the privacy needed. It was easy to get in touch with any questions we had.

Checkin was codes for the doors and made it really easy to come at any time of the evening. Great common areas with full kitchen to use if desired. Great game room. Had a blast here with my son and we also checked out the local barcade, but would have been happy with just this hotel.
