Top Donalds Hotel Reviews

Baymont by Wyndham Greenwood

8/10 Good

"we loved the hotel, it was much quieter than others we have been to. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only flaw I have is the refrigerator didn't work, you have to been real up close to the tv before it will change channels, and the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty. Beyond that it was a very comfortable stay."

Holly Trail Treehouse in Anderson w/WIFI, AC, Smart TV, Full Bath and washer

10/10 Excellent

"Cute, cozy Treehouse appeared exactly as pictured! Beds were comfy and despite the tiny nature of the livingspace, the kitchen had all the things. My favorite was enjoying morning coffee on the front porch while sitting on bench rocker! The only thing that I wasn't particularly keen on, was having to go outside and down the stairs to enter the bathroom/laundry area. It is well lit and nice, I just didn't expect to have to go outside. We would certainly stay here again!"

8/10 Good

"Let me start by saying the house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. It was in a great location, close to restaurants, boat ramps to put our boat in the lake, and boat rentals. We did rent a pontoon boat for a day and enjoyed touring the lake. Now the negatives..We arrived about 10 minutes before check-in so decided to walk around and check out the outside. First thing we noticed when getting out of the car was a horrible smell! There was a large bag of trash sitting next to the garage/shed. I don’t know how long it had been out there, but it looked like a critter had chewed a few holes in the bag and it stunk really bad. The trash cans were sitting up by the road (I don’t know if that is where they were supposed to be but we left them there) so my son carried the bag up and put it in the trash can. The back yard left much to be desired. There was a grill that was left at the bottom of the stairs, blocking the walkway. The cement walkway going to the fire pit was broken up so you pretty much had to walk on the grass. The fire pit area was not clean. Chairs were scattered around, there was another grill there that was falling apart and filled with half burnt charcoal. There was just a lot of trash around that area! In spite of that, we did have a fire one night and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit.All-in-all we loved the house and enjoyed our stay. If it weren’t for the outside area,I would have given a 10/10 rating."

"A tranquil family getaway is all about slowing down the pace, swapping screen time for connection, and choosing a setting where mornings unfold gently and evenings are quiet. This place offered just that."
