However, there is no excuse for any hotel owner to allow their business to become so decrepit. You can see the years of neglect on this poor building. Even in the bathroom, instead of bath towels, we had two very old pool towels, with the blue stripe. When we arrived in our room late in the evening, after working at a special event all day, there was a very strong smell of marijuana. I notified the front desk and they were not able to move us because there were “no other rooms available” and they could not find any air freshener spray. The whole experience was miserable. We couldn’t even shower because all we had to dry off with were the rags they provided. When checking it they had a sign up saying both the pool and the hot pool was closed. When I told them the pool was the whole reason I booked with them they offered to cancel my book so I wouldn’t be charged. They also gave recommendations to another hotel with a pool. We decided to stay anyway. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They also had a decent breakfast.
