What a lovely surprise. Picked out this property on a whim as an overnight stay as a midway point on our drive to Indiana. It turned out to be a hidden gem that we wished we could enjoy for longer. Next time we will certainly stay here and give ourselves more time to truly enjoy the property and its surroundings!

Gem in the downtown area!

Great and cozy stay in Pitt, very walkable to downtown and the stadiums. Staff was super kind and accommodating. Will plan to stay here every time in headed to Pittsburgh.

Fantastic home in an eclectic neighborhood. House is under relatively new ownership and they are still working through a few upgrades/updates, but still very comfortable and quiet. Was modestly worried about parking but that was not a problem for us. The park directly across the street is a plus and the easy walk to Starbucks for 6am coffee was easy enough.

Beautiful home

Beautiful and comfortable home; away from the busy parts of the city, but close enough to enjoy it. A short walk gets you to the action near the three rivers. Friendly staff is a plus.

North side mansion experience

Wonderful host with helpful local recommendations, who have us a lovely upgrade to large room with view of the flowering trees in the park. Very comfortable historic mansion within walking distance of many attractions.

Fantastic bed and breakfast with very kind and welcoming host. The grounds are gorgeous and conveniently located to the happening areas of Pittsburgh. The breakfast was perfect with many options available. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The story of the mansion was very interesting and made for a fascinating stay. I highly recommend the Inn over any other hotel or motel in the area.

We enjoyed the Executive Suite on the 3rd floor. Be aware that the inn is undergoing some renovations and, while that didn't impact us much, others may feel differently. The wi/fi was a little spotty on the 3rd floor but worked well in the common areas on the first floor and the huge front porch. The best part of our stay was the host, Cyndi. She was attentive but not intrusive and was great to chat with. The Expedia listing said there was a continental breakfast but Cyndi gave us a hot breakfast every day. The neighborhood around the inn is about halfway gentrified, but it was close to so many things. We were able to walk to dinner most nights of our stay, and all the north shore museums and stadiums were within about a 20 minute walk. Don't miss the National Aviary across the street in the park.

Highly recommended by my wife and I. Get out of the hotel scene and into a quality Inn. Jeff and Karl the owners did not disappoint on this fantastic spot in the North Side. Felt like we went back in time and lived the high life!

A perfect getaway!

Our second time stay with Jeff and Carl. Location is perfect- walking distance to Commonplace coffee shop, Monterey Pub (Irish), Nicky's (Thai), 412 and Four Points brewery. Wonderful accommodations, clean, Every hospitality detail is well thought out. Great experience all around!
