Family Vacation
We had the best time staying at Northern Delight! Our three boys didn’t want to leave!We had so much privacy and everything we could have wanted to do was provided for us! It was a quick drive away from town and we stayed up at the fire. When the weather was cooler we played pool and listened to the many selections of vinyls :)

Amazing!
The house was lovely and the decor was really beautifully curated. We really enjoyed the recreational room downstairs and the sauna. It was cold the weekend we were up, but we still got to enjoy the nice outside fire pit surrounded by string lights. Would highly recommend this home for your next stay in Minocqua!

Great weekend away!
House was in great shape! Plenty of room for my husband and I and our three kids. We went in the winter and since the property is right on a small lake, we got to ice fish with easy access to the house. Will definitely book again! Thank you!

We had a great trip and the place was perfect. We enjoyed the nature of the place and just relaxing. The games and access to the lake were perfect. This place is a little piece of heaven
We loved staying here with our group. It is such a short drive into Minocqua downtown. The lake is so nice to swim & watch the sunrise on the dock. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed! We are already talking about renting this home again next summer!

Perfect place for family getaway
Our family of 9 had a fantastic stay at Northern Delight! The 70s decor made us all smile from the moment we walked in. Paddle boards, kayaks, fire pits, sauna, game room with bar, pool table and so much more to kept us all busy our entire stay. Loved this place on a peaceful wooded lake. An absolutely perfect family getaway!

Great location and scenery. Well-maintained interior and plenty of entertainment on-site prompted by frigid temperatures. Ample space for 5 guests. Could easily accommodate 10-12 guests that included couples.

Great stay and weekend getaway
We had a great time and for early November we were spoiled with low 60's for the highs and nice nights that weren't too cold. We missed most of the foliage of the area as very little colors were left in the area. One small bummer was that a lot of the local restaurants were closed. Some we found out are only open seasonally and some are unfortunately closed from covid lock downs that have ravaged our countries economy and killed a lot of small businesses. Just a small side note the first cabinet I opened by the pool table had a Ouija board in it. I instantly shut the door and did kot go back into the lower level the remainder of our stay. Quite an interesting thing to have out for guests, definitely not our cup of tea...

Nice place but need maintenance light bulbs burned out in various rooms, no light bulb in open socket in kitchen, not told until day before that Murphy bed was unavailable. fireplace was broken not told about it. knowing about some of the above we wouldn't have rent property.

Fun family time!
We had a wonderful vacation with family! Tons of stuff to do inside and out! We enjoyed fishing, swimming, kayaks and other water toys, campfires as well as pool, games and coloring inside. Location was so convenient, being close to so many things, but house felt very private and we pretty much had the lake to ourselves! The house was clean, fully stocked and loved the decor. It was pretty humid the first couple days, so air conditioning would have been ideal, but it was still a fantastic time!:)

Great restfull and fun vacation property.
The house is very clean and setup to make your vacation restful and fun. Lots of pieces to complete a fun puzzle - from inside games/pool table to outside kayaks to games to fishing boat & dock. Deck and fire pit completed the restful/fun week. Caught fish, kayaked lake, listened to & watched loons, watched deer stroll though the property. Everything worked and close to town to participate in local events/shopping. Looking to come back next year!

Great Family Trip!
We loved this rental! The house was very comfortable and clean- the vintage decor was cool! The kids had a blast with the kayaks and paddle boards on the lake. We had a bonfire each night. It was great and we would love to come back next year!

Summer get away
The property was nice. Pictures were accurate and home was nicely decorated. A lot a things to do and many were provided with rental such as outdoor games, water crafts and a nicely appointed kitchen. Very clean inside and out though the trash from previous renters should have been removed prior to us checking in as it really stunk up the garage where many outdoor things were located including the gas grill. We were notified by manager that property was available to check in early even though we did not because of previous commitments. Overall a nice property but I did feel it may be a little overpriced for our budget. Probably will not stay here again because of this.

Cool Mid-Century Property
We booked this home for a family get together and couldn't be happier. There was plenty of room with comfortable beds. You feel secluded but are only a few minutes drive to town and anything you might need. The home is full of vintage decorations that were fun to look at. And tons of games to keep you busy on a rainy day!

North Woods Getaway
This house was perfect for our family. There is so much to do at this house. The owner has thought of everything. Very relaxing and quite. Our family enjoyed everything this property had to offer. Quiet lakefront getaway close to town
A great lakefront home that is close to town, but feels far away and quiet. The house was plenty spacious for our group of 6 adults and we enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and floaties for our time on the dock and in the lake. We also enjoyed nightly fires in the firepit. The only thing I would caution on is that the property does not have AC - so bring extra fans.

Perfect Lakefront Weekend with Family
What a great weekend with family in this beautiful lake home. There is plenty of room for a big group, both inside and out. The property is lush and private. We loved fishing from the private pier and also lived the evening bonfires. We had all the amenities we needed and really had a nice time with our family. The owner Chris reached out to us with instructions for access to the home and was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this location for anyone who wants a lake front vacation in a beautiful, clean, well-appointed home.

Overall it was a nice place, a variety of the amenities didn’t work including the sauna which was disappointing. The floor in the rec room was separating and bubbling up making it impossible to use the downstairs bathroom or Rec room as we didn’t want to damage the floor. The place was clean and cutely decorated however, I would have choose a different place based on the troubled things.

The house was beautiful and spacious. The lake was great for fishing from the dock. Everything was included with the house (fishing rods, boat. Kayak etc.). The decor was vintage and super cool. Only complaints- the sauna was not working and the hot tub was dirty and not full.

Updated Retro House on Peaceful lake
Great choice for a quiet affordable getaway Up North. Had the lake to ourselves (aside from loons) all week. No motorized boats allowed, which we loved. Perfect for relaxing on their kayaks and standing paddle boards. Very convenient to Woodruff (1 mi) and Minocqua (2.5 miles). Clean and comfortable home (new flooring, retro decorations, large kitchen), with great yard for activities. Owner has done a nice job of updating major aspects. Owner very responsive. Loved the Stradivari poster!
