"As long term visitors to this hotel we were pleased to find that the new owners have done a great job with the renovations. More importantly, many of the familiar staff were still there which was very important to us. Rooms, bar, and dining area looking great. "The Chiostro was a great find. The people are really helpful and friendly. The breakfast team do a great job and are really keen to go the extra mile. The room has a fantastic fresco (not the only one in the hotel) on the wall and many of the ceilings have artwork. Sitting in the cloisters reading or sipping some wine was so relaxing. Upstairs you find a sort of mini museum in a meeting room that looks like it has not changed in a century or two. If you like history, this is a good place to stay."
