The staff were lovely and helpful, and the views were terrific in some locations. However, parking on the cliffs was an issue almost daily with people blocking entrances and then having to wait or find different ways out of the complex. The food and drinks at the pool restaurant were some of the worst I can recall in 30 years of traveling. Simple drinks like a pina colada and margarita were unrecognizable. The property is old and in need of updating. The mattresses were like boards. As a rewards member, it is definitely not the quality expected of a Hilton. We never made it to The Pointe and frankly didn’t want to risk spending several hundred dollars on a mediocre or worse meal. Would not stay here again and hope the property is improved.

We loved the club's seclusion and quietness with its fast access to the town. The facilities were clean and pleasant with easy reach to the pool and entertainment areas.

The room was beautiful and clean. Very much of a home feeling. In the bathroom jacuzzi was great and relaxing. What I did not like was, in the room I stayed in had a connecting room that was being occupied. That’s something that made me feel very uncomfortable, I feel that should have been relied to me at check in. Also, I called in the morning to ask for 15 extra minutes so I could clean up and be sure I had all of my belongings. The female that answered was very very rude. Check out was at 11:00am and I understand that but 15 minutes to do the hotel a favor and clean up after myself is a bit ridiculous. Also, when booking my reservation I was told that the hotel was pet friendly but at check in there is a $150 pet non refundable cleaning fee. So I had a friend pick up my two 5 pound dogs.

Overall, we had a great experience at this property however, there were some upkeep and maintenance issues in our room such as broken bathroom lights and a coffee maker that was not easy to get to work. We reported these issues when we left. The dining options and multiple pools and hot tubs were a plus!
