Caribbean Islands Beach Vacations

Highly recommend this resort Very clean the people are great the food was amazing Looking forward to our next stay here

The staff were great because they want a good tip all the time. The room had mould in the AC so I ended up with sinus issues. The towels still had left over make up and sun lotion on every single one.

It was a great experience.

The property is very nice! I like how large and spaced out everything is. I enjoy walking so decided to walk everywhere however, there are carts that have routes around the property. I frequented the gym during my stay which had a variety of equipment however some machines were in need of repair. The beach was ok however I didn’t have the opportunity to swim because of the excessive seaweed along the beach and in the water. There were tractors present most days cleaning up the seaweed. I did see some people go in the water. The food at most of the restaurants lacked flavor. I was able to visit all of them except the platinum restaurant and Pescador. My personal favorites were Samsura and Wasabi because everything I tried was great. I would have rated this hotel higher if the staff were better. Majority of the staff that I encountered were not welcoming and had terrible service. There were several times when I had to walk over to the bar in the buffet to get my own drink because no one came to me which was very frustrating because I could see the waiters asking other tables what they wanted to drink and providing it for them. The staff need to be trained. There were a couple of great staff. Eddy at the beach buffet was very kind and attentive, while I was lounging at the beach he asked if I wanted anything to drink and brought it over. I gave him a good tip for his service! I took a solo trip for my birthday and I was disappointed overall because of the poor hospitality.

We just spent 5 nights here at the Excellence Punta Cana and the staff were so pleasant and helpful. Always available and overall fun to be with. We truly were sad to leave
