"Luxury hotel, great location"
probably the best thing to say about this hotel is the staff was extremely helpful. I needed a shoehorn to get my boots on and when she had no idea what it was, another person went to shoeshine guy who immediately produced one that worked perfectly. I'm just sorry I didn't get names.

"Welcoming and convenient"
We stayed in Hotel Ella for couple nights. It was our first trip to Austin. The hotel was very welcoming and elegant. The lobby is in the historical mansion. The rooms are in the added on to the side of the house. We had a 2 queens beds room and it was a very good size. The decor of the room was beautiful. The bathroom was very nicely done. The only down side to our room is the shower door did not seal correctly so when we showered, the water would leak out. The hotel complimentary car service was great. Jimmy took us to our first stop then picked us up later off Congress street. He was very nice and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located so what we wanted to see was within the car service vicinity. The hotel is also walking distant to UT Austin. We had a really nice trip and would definitely stay at Hotel Ella again!

Six might turn into your favorite number after a trip to Austin, as 6th Street is one of the most popular streets in the city.

The avenue is full of top-rated music venues, Tex-Mex restaurants, and pubs. Whether you see a show at Parish, Blind Pig Pub, or anywhere else, it’s a must-visit area of town. Not only is Austin famously “weird,” it’s also a little batty. Check out the Congress Avenue Bridge, home to about a million bats March through September.
