Beautiful and Quite!!Posted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: Design and staff.
Cons: Probably have a snacks and drinks area.
Location: There is plenty of restaurants, pharmacies, groceries stores near the hotel which was very convenient.
Hotel Posada 06 is a very pretty hotel, perfect for those who need to stay out of the craziness. It is also very close to restaurants and fairly close to the main touristic destinies on Quintana Roo. It was a very pleasant experience and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Boutique-y hotel in quiet locationPosted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: Quirky decor and peaceful location.
Location: The hotel is on a quiet road in walking distance of the main road where most of the shops and restaurants are. It is a 5 min drive to the ruins/beach.
Although this hotel isn't on the beachfront like many other hotels in Tulum and is on a fairly unassuming street, it has been decorated to a high standard and is very peaceful. The rooms all look out over the (very small!) swimming pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and modern. It's in a great location to get into the town to the shops and restaurants but you will need a car/bus/bike to get to the beach. Tulum wasn't our favourite place in Mexico but this was a nice hotel.

Excellent locationPosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: This place was close to all the local shops and eating joints.
Cons: room keeping was clean but toiletries / towels were not replaced
Location: too many local shops and hang out places. the ruins were close as well cab charged us 75 pesos
It was tough finding the place but the staff was very cooperative and gave us pointer for local places around.

Lovely small hotel in Tulum TownPosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Design, location, staff.
The hotel is one block from the man strip in Tulum town. The street is pot-holed but the hotel is beautiful. Sinuous curves everywhere, nice rooms with spacious balconies. Quiet. Parking available. Friendly staff.

Nice but not as good as nearby hotels in the area.Posted Sep 18, 2013
Hotel Posada 06 was good for our needs, it was central, clean and spacious but having looked at the nearby beach side hotels (just a 5/10 minute drive down the road) it was clear that for the same price we could of had the same thing but slightly closer to the water's edge.

Lovely place to stay away from all the tourists!Posted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Location is amazing. 5-10mins to the beach by cab but close to the centre of tulum & awesome restaurants. Felt very safe. Rooms were good size!
Cons: Not much!
Location: Located in centre of tulum. Close to ADO, public transport, great denotes, beach & all the local restaurants & mini markets
Came across this cute little hotel on Expedia & so glad we stayed here. Made our experience so much better than staying at another hotel on the beach. You get to experience the true Mexicican locals, vibes & town of tulum by staying in the centre of the city. Staff were lovely, helpful & spoke English too. Rooms were a good size (not huge) pretty clean with everything you need. Overall we would very much recommend this hotel! Thank you to the staff for a memorable stay!!

Room and staff is nice, but not in a good locationPosted Jul 13, 2013
Pros: Staff are really friendly and kind enough.
Cons: The pool is very small to swim.. you'll be disappointed if expected by the picture.
Location: The atmosphere surrounding this hotel is not so nice.. I don't know why this hotel has built here..
Clean and new hotel, even it's very small, there's no problem about it. But for me, the environment of this hotel is not likely. This hotel is located in the town area and the houses surrounding this hotel is not so good. There're many hotels on the beach side in Tulum, so I recommend to consider them instead.

hidden gem in TulumPosted Jul 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you don't need or want a hotel on the beach, the Hotel Posada 06 should be your choice! - one street off the main street in Tulum, it is centrally lcated in Tulum. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. THe Hotel is clean, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Also within easy walking distance to the Tulum Ruins. Bed mattresses are a bit on the hard side, but still not awful. OXXO convenience store with an ATM just up the block. Don't be put off by the neighborhood, we never felt unsafe.

Welcoming place and wonderful hosts!Posted May 5, 2013
Pros: The staff were very attentive and kind. The surroundings were beautiful and the decor was lovely.
Our manager, Alex, said something just before we left this lovely hotel. He said:"what is mine is yours, and this is your home". A beautiful sentiment from a beautiful person. Everyone we came in contact with at Hotel Posada 06 was welcoming and friendly and always ready to give advice about restaurants, etc. Our room was kept scrupulously clean. The atmosphere was lovely, peaceful, and wonderful to come to at the end of the day.The pictures on the website don't lie. It really is that pretty, especially in the evenings when all the lanterns are lit. If you want to stay in the town of Tulum and get a real taste of Mexico ( not an all inclusive resort that looks and feels like all the ones you've seen before) then this is a place you should consider. It is full of culture, interesting people, amazing food and character. Cancun may be popular but good only if you want commercialism and everything you can get at home. Tulum beach was more tropical than any beach I've been to, and the beach strip is filled with cafes, restaurants, diving and snorkelling tours, craftspeople and nightlife. It was only a 10 minute taxi ride from Hotel Posada 06. We thoroughly enjoyed being close to all that Tulum offers by staying at this hotel.
