The staff (especially Coco) are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms, beach, pools are incredible 👍 In my opinion, this is an affordable 5 ⭐️ property and not a $300-$400 all inclusive overpriced tourist trap. Food and drink prices are reasonable, which is great for those who only drink lightly, and don’t need a 24/7 all You can eat buffet. If youre happy lounging at the pool/bar steps to the white sands beach, eating fresh guacamole, grilled fish tacos and drinking a few cervezas 🍻? Then this is a place for you 😎👍

Un hotel hermoso, la estética y el concepto que manejan son espectaculares, cuentan con la playa más linda que he visto, desde que llegamos nos hicieron sentir como en casa, una bienvenida y un trato muy ameno por el equipo de recepción, nuestra habitación era muy cómoda y agradable, la comida era excelente, varias opciones muy deliciosas en todos sus restaurantes y a muy buen precio, así como sus bebidas muy variadas. Por otro lado el servicio del personal fue increíble, muy amables y serviciales en todo momento, hicieron esta experiencia muy agradable. El Spa fue maravilloso, fue muy relajante el trato por parte de los masajistas fue muy agradable y los servicios que ofrecen son excelentes. Sin duda es un lugar muy acogedor para relajarse y disfrutar de la tranquilidad de sus instalaciones.

Our recent overnight visit to Maya Tulum by G Hotel was truly delightful. Right from the start, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of, making our short escape a memorable one. We arrived early in the morning, well before the usual check-in time of 3 pm. However, Ricardo, a friendly member of the staff, made sure we could settle in early, allowing us access to our room by 11 am, which was a pleasant surprise. Throughout our stay, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. They took great care of us, ensuring that our needs were met and that we had everything we required for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless, with every detail carefully attended to. We especially enjoyed the private jacuzzi, which was clean and set to the perfect temperature for relaxation. Ricardo kindly showed us around the area, making sure we were happy with everything before leaving us to enjoy our stay. Although our visit was short, it left a lasting impression. We're already planning our next trip back with our 2-year-old son and my wife. As owners of a travel agency in Paris and Miami, we'll definitely be recommending Maya Tulum by G Hotel to our clients, knowing they'll have a fantastic experience. Overall, our time at Maya Tulum by G Hotel was characterized by excellent service, cleanliness, and tranquility. We're looking forward to returning to this wonderful destination soon.

The concept of this place is nice, but there is so much seaweed that it is almost unswimmable (although not their fault by any means, but we had no idea it’d be like that) Drinks and food was extremely overpriced at the beach club. Waited almost 12 mins for them to Make me a margarita and get a beer. Restaurant is only open for 3 hours/day for breakfast and the food was not great. The room was nice though. But I would not return

Good place with a nice view, but pricey.
The place was amazing and relaxing. Lighting in the place is really low, probably for the wildlife in the area, so be sure to bring a flashlight or headlamp if you want to find anything inside after dark. Also, check the pricing for the minibar as the half bottle of meh champaign is over $100US.

Pros: We stayed in one of the beachfront bungalows and had our own private beach access, lounge chairs, even hammocks. THUMP THUMP THUMP My spouse is AFAB non-binary, post-chest surgery and was able to lie in the sun without a top -- something hard to do in a lot of beach spaces. The room looked nice and the bed was comfortable; toilet was separate from sinks and shower, which always helps with 2 people. THUMP THUMP THUMP Cons: The hotel next door plays really loud music from mid-afternoon until midnight or 2am, depending on the night. It's not Maya's fault, but the sound carries over the beach. We chose to go to Tulum because we heard it was quieter than Cancun, but this is unfortunately in the party district. THUMP THUMP THUMP I was able to tune out the music with ear plugs, but this meant that there was no falling asleep to the sound of the waves. My spouse had a harder time with it and had to take sleep aids because the THUMP THUMP THUMP was driving them insane. The lighting in the room is very ambient and relaxing at night, but there is almost no light by the bathroom mirror. THUMP THUMP THUMP If you want to put on makeup or shave, leave the room and find one of the random mirrors gracing the grounds around the hotel. At night, forget it. The restaurant turned us away at 5pm when they close at 6, told us to come back at 8. When we got food at 9 it was cold and underwhelming. If the THUMP THUMP THUMP in this review drives you nuts, look for a different hotel.
