“The Hatch Restaurant was a huge disappointment. Management, didn’t resolve our disappointment. We, left and went to another restaurant where we spent 150. 00 dollars.”

“we were in a very old house, not in the main building. We thought we were in on the water. The room had no drawers or space to unpack your clothing. It was $1000 a night. Very disappointed.The bathroom was a pedal sink which would be fine if there was any place to put your toothpaste or toiletries other than the windowsill. The refrigerator was in a closet that was very hot, which was odd. And a very, very, very small refrigerator. No views so disappointed to spend that kind of money.”

“Fabulous location near Misquamicut beach. Loved the private beach parking and bathrooms. The continental breakfast was good. Nice warm tasty muffins. The things to note is this is a true motel. Our room had a large main window facing parking area and pool. The downside to this was we were on the ground level and had to keep shade closed as everyone could see in. Could also clearly hear folks in next room. Very clean and well maintained”

“I was surprised at the state of the property considering the prices. Our room was very musty and damp. We also had insects… i didn’t look close enough to tell you the species but they weren’t ants.”

“We had a great stay at Hotel Maria. Everything was great! We loved the ocean view from our balcony. The staff was excellent, especially Becca. She took care of all the things we needed help with. Our only suggestion would be is to have towel racks in the bathroom. That's it!!!!!! It was a wonderful time.”

“Excellent hotel. Really perfect for a night or two away at block island. Walking distance from food, coffee, shops, the ferry, moped/jeep/broncho rentals and they have a shuttle available for the ferry at almost any time. Very helpful and sweet staff. Beautiful property with really cute spaces to touch grass and watch the animals on the farm if you want. hey have breakfast available for cheap next door at their sister hotel. I even left my glasses and they were kind enough to ship them to me.……

“This was an excellent find. I had the captain’s room and it was a very spacious and super well detailed. It is new construction so everything is immaculate. Gwen was a gem who helped us during our stay (you need to check in at the restaurant). It is only 6 rooms so book early”
