Very clean and well appointed! The beds are comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We didn’t use the hot tubs/sauna or cold plunge but they looked nice! Close to Bellaire and Mammoth (which is my fav as I don’t drink beer or cider so Short’s really isn’t the appeal to me for drinks). There’s other places too. All within walking distance. They asked that we put trash outside, pile towels on floor (which I do anyway) but I shouldn’t have to worry about trash at all...

I wanted to introduce a guest of mine to Michigan. The Crooked River Lodge was the perfect place to do this. Situated on the Crooked River, the Lodge had nearby trails, a great indoor pool and jacuzzi, as well as a roaring fire in the fireplace and an outdoor fire pit as well. We stayed in a single room just behind the beach suites. The room was comfortable, clean and attractive with nice fluffy towels. It was convenient parking right at our door.
