"I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the hotel. The desk staff, housekeepers, restaurant employees and in general all staff provided outstanding service. The best. Location is excellent, near the Puerta del Sol and La Gran Via avenue as well as public transportation and a taxi stand at less than a block. "

"The family suite was large but there were several items in need of attention. Broken soap dispensers, toilet seats, freezer covered in deep frost, and empty frames hanging throughout - the condition stood out compared to most hotels we stay in. I found our suite to be quiet despite it being road facing. No signs of pests but the dishes were not all clean, etc. I guess given the location and the price I’d consider staying here again if there wasn’t a better option but if price wasn’t a huge savings I’d stay elsewhere. The front desk people were very nice. "

"Very helpful staff and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Rooms very clean and hotel also very clean. Well situated for the Metro (O’Donnell or Goya) and a short distance to the Retiro gardens. Easy to get to from the airport on Bus 203 (5 Euro per person when we took it). Lots of places to eat nearby & hotel food really good. Check out the cafes and bars in Goya. Gym small but plenty of apparatus - treadmill, 3 bikes, X-trainer, weights machine and weights. Highly recommend this hotel for visiting Madrid."
