“What a lovely place! The property is gorgeous, rooms were clean. My toddler had the time of her life at the river pool and collecting shells at the beach. The fitness center was nice. Staff were exceptionally helpful! The only thing I didn't love were the food options - fine for a night but next time we will bring food or explore Williamsburg for better veggies, proteins and healthy options. Overall we had so much fun we booked our next stay before we left!”

“Lodge Room quiet and sheets were clean but room worn with water stain in lamp shade. Elevator brass and woodwork needed polishing and dusting. Carpet dirty and worn. Crusty mineral build up around faucets. On the CW property but in the back 40 for lodge rooms. Food tasty in Barley Tea for dinner. Good coffee cafe in the am. Breakfast in Traditions has a decent breakfast.”

“Would definitely stay again!!! Cottages and grounds were extremely clean. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Our initial key did not work. When requesting a working key, we requested a cottage with fewer or no steps. The young man (i do not remember his name...sorry) searched for such accommodations even though I requested an extra night at check in. It was a pleasurable stay. Thank you.”
