Ogunquit - The Milestone

8/10 Good

"The hotel grounds were nice. The main office was notably clean. The pool area was nice, pool was large with plenty of seating around. It wasn't warm,however. If a heated pool is important to you, this was not (or barely). The room was somewhat dated with signs of past water damage, but it was clean with no odor. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and told us late checkout would be acceptable, however the woman at the desk the next day told us no and wasn't super friendly. Breakfast was minimal, but nice to have in a pinch."

"Stayed at the Clarion a couple nights and even though the main lobby/pool area was clean, our room was not. When we first went into the room, there was a used bar of soap on the floor as well as the shampoo and conditioners being half way full, showing that they were used. I told the front desk and they told me they'd let housekeeping know. I never heard back from them and the soap was still there when we left (we weren't going to touch it). Also, the elevators were hit or miss. One was completely down and the second one worked one minute, not the next so you had to walk down the stairs with luggage. Not fun. One nice perk was the complimentary shuttle to different places. That was convenient when going to Old Port."
