“Decent hotel with exceptional friendly service. Rooms are large and clean. Don't expect the Marriott. I have stayed here multiple times, I love that it's dog-friendly, staff is always so very welcoming. Breakfast is nothing to shout about... but there's coffee and juice and toast and a waffle machine. Eggs are powdered... Overall, a stellar deal for those staying in Altavista. ”

“We booked the beautiful house to stay in for our daughter’s freshman move-in at Liberty University. She actually said that this was the best place I’ve ever booked (for anything). IT IS BEAUTIFUL, inside and out. The house was exceptionally clean and even had a nice subtle fresh scent. There were snacks, which were a hit with our 3 college-aged young adults. I feel that the hosts put their heart into every detail of our stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality of our hosts, and the memories……

“Breakfast was good for being included with the price. Good variety of options and some fresh fruits. Katherine is a hard worker. Looked like she was the only person keeping up with the buffet which was a busy place with all the construction workers from a nearby project. I would recommend this hotel. Thanks for the easy and pleasant stay ”

“Clean room. Friendly staff”

“I did have to wait for the ftont desk staff to show up when checking in. I waited about 10 minutes. There was no bell to ring. I was on my phone calling hotel, when she showed up. We checked in around 6pm. She said she was folding towels, but I did hear a conversation going on and laughing. We had just driven 9 hrs n just wanted to get to our room. ”

“As usual Hampton Inns have always been great for our stay’s. Cleanliness is always on point, staff friendly and courteous. ”

“Our room was very clean. The bathroom could have used a good deep clean. The grout and bath tub was a little grimy. Our pillows were not comfortable. They barely had anything in them. Breakfast was yummy. The sausages were not warm enough. The coffee cups were very cheap and the lids did not fit. I took a drink and it spilled all over my shirt. The staff was friendly but not anything spectacular. We would recommend this place.”

“We had a great stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean. Urine on the toilet when we arrived and used soap and shampoo left in the shower. And the table in the main room had something sticky all over it. Otherwise, great location and excellent staff for check in. ”
