Ambleside Cottage with free private parking
Ambleside Cottage with free private parking"Great location and great, safe private parking spot. Cottage is clean, spacious and cosy. Cottage is a little old fashioned, and needs a bit of TLC but the basics are all there and some nice touches- milk in fridge, bread, butter, eggs, tea coffee etc supplied. Would stay again as reasonably priced for what it is."

Lettera
Lettera"The house was absolutely charming and so cozy and comfortable for our family. We loved that we all had our own space but could still share meals and relax together."

Gowanlea
Gowanlea"Great location central Ambleside, with parking permit, everything you need"

Netherbeck
Netherbeck"Beautiful property in a perfect location for access to all the shops, restaurants and for wonderful walks. We had everything we needed for our 3 day stay at Netherbeck. It was clean, modern and very spacious. The promised parking permit was left in the house for us on arrival, and although there was a van parked directly outside, we did manage to park behind it once orher cars had left (though this wasn't before we had to park elsewhere until a space became available). We tried to call Sykes for...

Juniper Cottage
Juniper Cottage"We have been staying at the cottage for a number of years. Perfect location. This year the property wasn't very clean as I would expect. Wish have bath sheets and not a small bath towel. But worth staying at the property or Heather cottage. I believe owned by same owners"

12 Blue Hill Park
12 Blue Hill Park"A lovely property just a 10 min walk from the centre of Ambleside or down to Lake Windermere. A great base from which to explore all that The Lake District has to offer. I would stay here again!"

Yew Tree Cottage
Yew Tree Cottage"The cottage is well equipped for self-catering for a family of 4. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space in the living / dining areas. Quiet and with easy access to the heart of Ambleside, it is in a great location."

Keldas
Keldas"Overall great place to stay-clean, comfortable and great location. One complaint-nothing was stocked like other homes/apartments we have stayed. We had to buy garbage bags, soap, salt and pepper, even toilet paper, etc. morning was stocked. Amazing amount of dishes/cookware in the kitchen, but that was it. I wish we would have known, we could have packed some of this from home. Other than that, good stay!"

Old Stones Cottage
Old Stones Cottage"The check in information did not arrive in time and it took 15 min to call and sort things out. Otherwise, there is no complaint on the property. Street parking with permit, it sometimes needs luck to find a nearby parking space."

Betty's Mews
Betty's Mews"The property was immaculate, well furnished, cosy and homely. Everything you needed to make your stay lovely. "

Spring Cottage
Spring Cottage"Lovely stay here, easy parking and will stay here again when back in Ambleside."

Waterfall
Waterfall"A cosy, comfortable apartment in a quiet location. Only a short walk into the centre of Ambleside. The apartment was very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well equipped. "

Riverbank
Riverbank"It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing I’d suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river."
